At Northwoods Caregivers, we’re grateful to walk alongside caregivers across our region, offering programs that strengthen well‑being, build confidence, and create community.

Our Caregiver Support Groups continue throughout the month, providing a welcoming space to share experiences, learn from others, and find encouragement. We’re also scheduling Virtual Dementia Tours, a powerful hands‑on experience that helps families, professionals, and community members better understand the challenges of dementia. If you are interested in scheduling a Virtual Dementia Tour, please call our office 218-333-8264.

For those looking to focus on their own wellness, we will be offering a Chronic Disease Self-Management Class and Diabetes Self-Management Class. We will be offering this 6-week class virtually starting September 16th. Please register by September 9th to reserve your spot. 

We’re hiring a Respite Care Provider and Homemaker in the Blackduck or Bagley areas. If you or someone you know is passionate about helping others and making a difference for local families, we’d love to connect.

• September 9th: Beltrami County Autumn Job Fair 11:00-2:00.
• September 16th: Chronic Disease Self-Management and Diabetes Self-Management Virtual Classes. To register, call 218-333-8264. We will be offering both classes in both Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging and Central MN Council on Aging regions. Your facilitator will be Earlene Buffalo or Jenn Cole depending on your county of residence.

Homemakers are employees paid $16/hr

Respite Providers are independent contractors paid $20/hr
