Summer is still in full swing this month! The sun is shining on us while we manage our day to day activities. We have had a blast getting to serve our wonderful community this summer with caregiver events, education, and information sessions. We have more to come, so make sure to check out our upcoming events so you don't miss out!
If you are a primary caregiver, be sure to attend our monthly caregiver support groups- you are not alone on this journey, we are here to help you. You can find times and locations of all support groups down below.
Do you have some extra time in your week to help seniors in need? Our clients are in need of drivers to take them to the grocery store and doctors appointments. You can help by signing up to be a volunteer driver. Volunteer drivers are paid 70 cents per mile starting at the volunteers door. To sign up, please call Evie at 218-333-8247. With your help, we can keep seniors in their own homes as long as possible.

Home modification and chore services are available for those age 60 and over. This service provides handyman work around the house to seniors free of charge. Contact our office for more information today 218-333-8264.

Northwoods Caregivers is also hiring for the following positions:
Home Health Aides
Assist with bathing, dressing, nail care, and PT exercises. CNA preferred, but training can be provided. Starting @ $17.50/hour
RN Services
Skilled and non-skilled nursing tasks such as: medication set-up; tracking vitals; wound care, and INR’s. RN’s are independent contractors. Starting @ $32/hour.
Transportation Volunteers
Volunteer drivers provide transportation to medical appointments, shopping, and small errands. Volunteer drivers are reimbursed at the federal mileage rate which is currently $.70/mile. Mileage begins from the volunteer’s door.
